How to become a witch

Notes made while reading “A Deed Without a Name” by Lee Morgan.
- Born that way -> approached by spirits or the Devil and informed of vocation/gifted with power.
- Initiated by other person -> share food/drink with fey/shifter, agree 3 times to go to sabbat, have one hand placed over head and one beneath feet and made able to See (aka spiritual contagion).
Path determined by what one is called to do: witchcraft as more than self-discovery (see agent of Fate).
Some are involved in managing the ‘out breath’ of the land and others in Her ‘in breath’.
The call is strong, or else one never finds/follows the path.
